Merritt Square Mall

Merritt Square Mall

It is a clean, quiet indoor mall in comparison to what you will find in Orlando or south Palm Beach County or Washington D.C. I have no problem with quiet; I choose Merritt Island to purchase my retirement home because I needed to get away from the madness of bigger cities. Plus we have a beautiful ocean and Cocoa Beach just around the corner.

Sure, it’s not perfect. But it has almost everything the locals need with some key anchor stores. The anchors are JC Penny, Macy, Sears, and Dillards.

Movies Anyone?

Cob theaters in the mall have sixteen theaters. It’s a well-appointed multiplex movie house featuring digital projection, stadium seating, IMAX, and 3D.
